Walk by Faith

The Gift of a Common Salvation

Masked content

Christianity is not a religion of special tiers where certain elite individuals receive better spiritual access or superior grace than the rest of the body of Christ. When God redeems us, we all share in the exact same baseline of grace, receiving an identical package of heavenly promises and the same indwelling Holy Spirit to build our lives upon.

This common salvation means that the supernatural promises of God are universally applicable to every single believer, entirely regardless of their background, their past failures, or the current struggles they are facing God does not operate with a caste system in His kingdom; when He saved you, He gave you the absolute full measure of His redemptive work, completely equipping you with everything pertaining to life and godliness so that you might live a life of total victory.

The Same Spirit of Faith

Because we share in a glorious common salvation, we also have access to the exact same mechanics of faith that the great heroes of the Bible utilized to see their miraculous breakthroughs. The Apostle Paul reveals this profound truth when he explains exactly how faith is designed to operate in the daily life of a believer.

This means there is not one special kind of faith reserved only for the apostles or the prophets of old, and a lesser, weaker kind of faith left for ordinary Christians today; we have the identical, carbon-copy spirit of faith that David, Paul, and the early church possessed.

True, biblical faith always operates with two distinct but inseparable parts: a believing part firmly rooted in the heart and a speaking part boldly expressed with the mouth. You cannot simply hold onto your beliefs silently and passively when you are facing a massive mountain or a fierce spiritual battle.

Our Spoken Words

Jesus perfectly modeled how our spoken words activate the supernatural power of God, teaching us that the spiritual realm is specifically designed to respond directly to the authoritative voice of faith. When Jesus faced seemingly impossible situations, He did not merely describe the mountain or complain to the Father about how tall and intimidating the obstacle was; He spoke directly to the problem with absolute, unwavering authority.

The very first thing that true faith will ever move is your mouth, and if your faith cannot move your mouth to speak God's truth, it will never be able to move the mountains standing in your way. When our words align precisely with God's truth, we are actively enforcing the victory that Christ has already won for us on the cross, effectively bridging the gap between the invisible promises of heaven and the visible realities of our daily lives.

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

2 Corinthians 5:7

Meditation that Transforms

Masked content

Biblical meditation is completely and utterly contrary to the practices of Eastern mysticism, which falsely encourage a person to empty their mind of all thoughts, desires, and conscious awareness. Instead, true scriptural meditation is the vibrant process of intentionally and continuously filling your mind with the life-giving Word of God until it deeply and securely takes root in your inner spirit.

The glorious, undeniable result of this continuous, deliberate focus on the Lord and His written Word is a profound, unshakeable peace that acts as an impenetrable fortress around your mind and your emotions. When your imagination is firmly locked onto the goodness, mercy, and absolute faithfulness of God, the anxieties and heavy stresses of this fallen world completely lose their paralyzing grip on your life.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

John 15:5

Overcoming the World

Masked content

To truly walk by faith is to step completely into the divine realization that we are no longer bound by the severe limitations, irrational fears, and devastating failures that characterize the fallen, secular world around us. We have been completely and eternally translated out of the oppressive kingdom of darkness and firmly planted into the glorious kingdom of God's dear Son, and the functional currency of this new, heavenly kingdom is absolute, unyielding faith in the finished work of the cross.

Let us step forward into every single day with an aggressive, radiant confidence, knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that the identical spirit of faith that moved massive mountains in the early church resides permanently within us today. We are completely equipped to face any challenge or giant, not in our own meager, human strength, but strictly through the limitless, supernatural power of the Son of God who loves us unconditionally and willingly gave Himself for us.
